Well, Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. And being the good Catholic Boy I am (Shut up) I have to give up something I enjoy. I haven't been to a church in over three years due to a priest telling me till I get my marriage annulled, I can't recieve communion. If they don't want my money, that's their choice, but I'm still gonna live my life like a good Catholic (Shut up, I do)
Lent's come early this year, and I'm having a hard time deciding what to give up for the next 47 days. The last three years I've given up sex, but I wasn't in a relationship then, so that's out of the equation now.
I've narrowed it down to a top 10 list. . If you think I should go with one of these or if anyone has any other ideas, let me know by midnight.
1) Giving Up Meat other than Fish on Fridays during Lent (I'm gonna do this anyway)
2) Giving Up Watching Football during Lent (Who watches the Pro Bowl anyway)
3) Giving Up Voting during Lent (Thank God I got that in this morning)
4) Giving Up Mardi Gras Celebrating during Lent (I'm running out of beads anyway)
5) Giving Up Playing Dominic in Tony n Tina's Wedding except on tours during Lent (Nunzio Lockdown starts this week)
6) Giving Up buying things for Angela during Lent (Gets me out of Valentines & her B-Day)
7) Giving Up Watching New Episodes of Heroes, 30 Rock, The Office, My Name is Earl, Chuck, Grey's Anatomy, House, & Pushing Dasies during Lent. (Just a little bit longer WGA)
8) Giving Up Blogging at Work during Lent (ummmm...)
9) Giving Up Coaching at Texas Tech during Lent (Damn, Bobby Knight did that already)
10) Giving Up Procrastinating about going to the Gym 2 times a week during Lent (no smart ass comment)
