Another DDS Article posted

When I worked in radio with two comidians (Harry Teinowitz & Spike Manton) they taught me a few ruled of comedy.
Things are funnier in threes.
Disagreeing is funny, arguing is not.
Tragidy + Time = Funny.

After I submitted this, I feel like I might have broken the last rule by not waiting long enough, but it was published.

CUBS New Manager

First, I have to say that I love that I figured out how to put YouTube Videos on my Blog.

Anyway...
We wanted a Manager that was anti-Dusty. One that would not just sit back, but would show passion-and it looks like that's what we got.

But we also needed a Manager that worked well with Kids, and Sweet Lou is not that man.

Pinella left Tampa Bay because he didn't like working with inexperienced players, but that's 1/2 the Cubs pitching Staff.
I am predicting here that Joe Girardi wins a WS managing the Nationals before Pinella wins one with the Cubs.
All the stars were aligned, Jim. The Prodigal Son Returns. I've been one of your biggest supporters, but this move is the begining of the end in the Jim Hendry Regime.

Improv Murder

A few weeks ago I was asked to be in a short film called Improv Murder. It will be featured at the Improv Kitchen on Clark in November as part of a bit by "the Unfinished Project". I'm not great in it, but it's a start.

Mainstage

Sunday I Performed on the Mainstage at Second City:Chicago.

I only told close family and a couple people at work because it was only a 17 minute show and I didn't want too many people paying an arm and a leg for parking to see me perform in maybe 4 minutes. We just finished level C of classes and things are going great. The Show went without a hitch, and I'm especially happy to have had the last line. But the thing that made me happiest about the midday show was the my parents were there and they were proud of me. Ever since my divorce, I've felt alot of my family has looked down on me as a black sheep. And one relitive came right out and told me I embarress her. So it was nice to have another day as the good son.

There was a bad part of the day though. My show was at noon. Bears kicked off at noon. So I had to miss most of the first half and watched the rest on TV. I had to sell my tickets. My Dad sold his tickets too. 40-0 (I don't count that last TD) Not a game you want to miss.

Next Show on the Mainstage 12/17 at noon. Bears host the Bucs at noon.
They better not be 13-0.
